Matthew 28:1-10

The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of the Christian faith. History tells us that without this belief, there would be no followers of Jesus and there would be no bible as we know it.

It sets Christianity apart from other religions and philosophies in that it is based on a historical event that either happened or didn’t happen.

But it’s more than a doctrine to believe in. It’s a story that is continuing to unfold - a story Jesus is still inviting us into. As we embrace this story, as we make it the primary story of our lives, it has the power to drive out hopelessness, to heal our anger, to cure our boredom, and to renew our sense of purpose (and more!).
