Matthew 23

Jesus warns the crowds about the self-righteousness of the religious leaders, and then he warns the religious leaders about their coming judgement.

We all like to think it's other people who struggle with self-righteousness and hypocrisy. We all like to think it's other people who are judgmental.

But the reality is that all of us are prone to having judgmental and self-righteous hearts.

Even Christians - and sometimes especially Christians - can fall into the hypocrisy ditch.
