In chapter 6 Paul had been challening the more liberal Christians in Corinth, but now Paul turns a corner and starts challenging the more conservative Christians.
When marriage is idolized, singleness is treated as a disability.
When singleness is idolized, marriage is treated as a trap.
The Bible challenges us to view all as gifts from God, to be used for his purposes.
