Jesus talked more about money than he did about many other things, including some of the big sins we try to avoid. And it wasn’t because he needed peoples’ money. No, he wanted his people free from slavery to money.

Money can be a tool to serve God, or it can be a deceitful slave master that is always promising more than it can deliver.

In this first sermon in a 3-part series, we simply want to consider which kingdom - God's or our own - we are thinking about when we spend, save, invest and give. Whose glory are we after?

While money can't buy us happiness, it does reveal which kingdom our happiness is rooted in.
