Talking about God's dream for racial reconciliation in his church is not so simple. Not with all the politicizing, accusing, and violence happening around us. The mere mention of certain words and phrases can trigger an avalanche of anxieties and pain in our hearts that make us want to either react out of anger or run away from the topic altogether. 

But that is because we have a real spiritual enemy on the prowl, looking to cause Jesus-followers to be the OPPOSITE of peacemakers, to react to prejudice with more prejudice.
