As Told By A Scoundrel: Finding Rest By Beholding
October 16, 2022 Speaker: Chris Francis Series: As Told By a Scoundrel
Matthew 12:14-21
Despite mounting pressure, Jesus continues to heal and bless the needy crowds. Matthew looks at it all and sees it as the fulfillment of one of Isaiah's prophecies about the coming Messiah, which starts off with the word, "Behold." Behold means to fix one's eyes, or to set one's gaze.
In this message we see four things about Jesus for us to behold, and by fixing our gaze on Jesus, we will find more rest for our souls.
