Matthew 10:5-39
Just before Jesus sends out his 12 apostles, he gives them a sobering speech about what to expect. They are given specific insturctions, given authority and power, but told they will suffer for their faith in Him.
While the specific context has changed, there are still principles in this passage that show us our own need for courage if we are to follow Jesus whole-heartedly in this world.
We talk about five reasons why we need courage and two reasons why we should be EN-COURAGED (filled with courage).
