As Told By A Scoundrel: Like Sheep Without A Shepherd
September 20, 2022 Speaker: Chris Francis Series: As Told By a Scoundrel
Topic: prayer
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” (Matthew 9:36 )
Sure people may look like they know where they're going, and they may look like they have it all together, but without a relationship with our Good Shepherd, they are harassed and helpless.
And Jesus feels compassion.
Sure people may look like they know where they're going, and they may look like they have it all together, but without a relationship with our Good Shepherd, they are harassed and helpless.
And Jesus feels compassion.
You and I may be tempted to be jealous of others' successes or offended by their values, but Jesus wants us to have a different response.
He wants us to feel something, to pray for something, and to go be something.
