Matthew 5:27-30
Adultery is destructive and to be guilty of it is to break one of the ten comamndmetnts. But Jesus said that we are guilty of breaking his law if we even give in to lustful thoughts.
Yikes. That's a high standard.
Thankfully, He doesn't just command us to live free; He wants us free - and he made a way for us to find freedom from the destruction lust causes in our relationships and in our hearts.
But it starts with admitting we are guilty.
