Exodus - Pt. 29: The Excuses We Make

Exodus 32:9-14, 20-28
In this passage, we examine three different responses to Israel's idolatry around a golden calf: Moses', Aaron's, and God's.
We see that because God is holy, he takes sin seriously and we cannot afford to make excuses.
We also see that because God is merciful, he gives us a chance to repent and throw ourselves upon that mercy.
And we see that if we are followers of Jesus, we can choose to either have Moses' heart for those far from God, or a heart like Aaron's.
