Like many of us, the apostle Peter was quick to fight - often the right battles -- at the wrong time and in the wrong way.

We see something that is being threatened, a legitimate problem, and we want to address it -- so we quickly jump in and grab the first weapon or tool at our disposal. But too often our reactions only prolong the situations, or may even make them worse.

Such was the case for Peter on the night of Jesus' arrest, and he almost got the in way of what God was up to to save humanity -- including Peter - from their sins. How do we make sure we respond to threats by following Jesus' lead instead of reacting like Peter?
