The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard in Matthew 20:1-16.

The Christian message is one of grace. We get forgiveness of sins and freedom from the curse of this world -- not out of what we have done or earned, but because of what Christ has done.

But many of us who believe that message don’t really believe it like we should. And the test -- or the revealer of whether we truly believe it -- is how God treats other people.

Other humans --- and what they get in life -- reveal how much we truly believe that what we get from God is out of his grace vs. what we earn.
