Peacemakers in a Divided Culture - Pt. 2: Racism and the Gospel (audio)

June 17, 2020 Series: Peacemakers

The Spirit-filled Church can and MUST do better than the world at hating racism, confessing racism, and discussing racism.

In Galatians 2, the apostle Paul calls out the apostle Peter for racial / ethnic prejudice because it is OFFENSIVE to God.

And yet, Peter doesn't get kicked out or "canceled" from his role in God's kingdom.

In Part 2 of our "Peacemakers in a Divided Culture" series, we talk about:

- How racial prejudice works against what Jesus has died for.

- Why God loves to save racists and expose our prejudices.

- And the kinds of conversations to avoid when discussing racism.

Plus there are excerpts from another Interview - this one with Kelvin Walker, Superintendent of the Metro District for the Christian & Missionary Alliance (our network of churches).
