Most of us would say it is wrong for a police officer to stand idly by and watch a crime happen without trying to stop that crime. 

While all of us have seen the abuse of authority and power in various ways, it is equally devastating when someone neglects to use the power and authority they have been given for good. 

Well when we submit to Jesus as our Lord and Savior, he gives us authority. A new spiritual authority - the kind we were supposed to have in the very beginning at Creation. 

And we cannot neglect to use this authority.
