Everyone thinks humility is a virtue.
But naturally, we see it as an obstacle to our joy, an obstacle to our freedom.
If I take the humble route, I will become a doormat.
If I do the humble thing, I will be taken advantage of.
Humility and Freedom too often feel like opposites.
Only in Jesus can they come together as they should.
