There is something in all of us that want a purpose bigger than ourselves, that want to live for a story bigger than our own little worlds.

God is the master story-maker, and the bible reveals his story. It's a massive adventure story with God as the hero inviting us in to his adventure, a massive romance story of God rescuing his beloved from the hands of her enemies, and a massive good vs. evil story about God overcoming when all seems lost. 

In order for us to have a flourishing holy happiness fire in our souls, that fire must be directed towards a purpose, and that purpose must be wrapped up in the right story.
