The Meaning of Salvation

Salvation = the Greek word is Sozo

1. Eternal life 
2. Healing 
3. Deliverance 
4. Provision 
5. Wholeness 
6. Protection
7. Preservation 

At this season, maybe we should meditate on the great salvation that Jesus has purchased for us. He made that purchase with His own precious, sinless blood, a sobering thought in itself. As more than one preacher has admonished, we as believers are living in "promise poverty". We seem to take Eternal life, and that's all. Would it not make glad the heart of our gracious Lord if we made the effort to receive more from Him? The more we freely receive, the easier it is to freely give.

Matthew 10:7-8 NKJV - And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
